By adjusting a picture’s exposure you can make it brighter or darker.
Select the Exposure
Tool in the Wizard Panel, or choose Adjust Exposure from the Image
menu. FotoFinish will display the Exposure dialog.
The quickest way to fix your exposure is to let FotoFinish adjust it for you. Just click on Auto Adjust Exposure and FotoFinish will take its best shot at adjusting your image. Often this is all the correction you need. If you like the result, click OK and you’re done.
Select Auto Adjust, or click on a thumbnail preview to adjust exposure
For more personal control over exposure, you can choose from the array of thumbnail previews that show your image at slightly different exposure settings. Select the preview that appears best to you. You can get more previews by clicking on the black arrows to scroll left or right. Click once on the desired preview and then click OK.
For even greater control, you can manually adjust the brightness and contrast of your image. To learn how, see Manually Adjusting Exposure in the chapter on Touching Up Photos.
